Prospects for cooperation between Azerbaijan and UNESCO in the field of youth and sports were discussed

Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan Farid Gayibov is visiting Paris.

During the visit, Gayibov met with UNESCO Assistant Director-General for Social and Human Sciences Gabriela Ramos at UNESCO Headquarters.

Prospects for cooperation between Azerbaijan and UNESCO in the field of youth and sports were discussed at the meeting. The sides exchanged views on expanding this cooperation. They said it was in the interest of both sides to enlarge cooperation in the field of youth and sports.

At the invitation of UNESCO Assistant Director-General for Social and Human Sciences Gabriela Ramos, Minister Gayibov took part in a high-level political conference entitled "Youth as Researchers of COVID-19" at UNESCO. The Azerbaijani Minister of Youth and Sports informed the conference participants about the country's youth policy.
